Who we are

Calyx Works Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202632203Z) is a company incorporated in Singapore, with its registered office at 60 Paya Lebar Road, #06-33, Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051. In this policy, "Calyx", "we" and "us" mean Calyx Works Pte. Ltd.

This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore.

What we collect

When you contact us. This website has no forms, no sign-up and no accounts. The only way to contact us through it is by email. If you write to us, we receive your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to include in your message.

Automatically, through our hosting provider. Like any website, this site is served by infrastructure that keeps standard technical logs, including the IP address of visiting devices, for security and reliability purposes. We do not use those logs to identify individuals or for marketing.

We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking or advertising technology on this site. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not track you across other websites.

Why we use it

We use the information you send us for one purpose: to read your enquiry, reply to it, and continue that conversation with you.

We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not send marketing to people who contact us. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data to anyone, and we never will.

If a conversation leads to us working together, any personal data involved in that engagement is governed by the agreement between us rather than by this policy.

Who we share it with

We do not disclose your personal data to anyone outside Calyx, except to the service providers described below, or where we are required to do so by law or by a regulatory or governmental authority.

Service providers, and where your information goes

We use a small number of third-party providers to run this website and our email. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Cloudflare hosts this website and routes our email. In doing so it processes technical log data and the content of messages sent to us.

Other than Cloudflare, this site loads no content from any third party. The typefaces it uses are served from our own site rather than from an external font service, so loading a page does not send your information anywhere else.

Cloudflare operates infrastructure outside Singapore, so your information may be processed overseas. Where we transfer personal data out of Singapore, we take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that the recipient is bound by obligations providing a standard of protection comparable to that under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as we are dealing with your enquiry, and for a reasonable period afterwards so that we have a record of the conversation. Where an enquiry does not lead to an engagement, we delete the correspondence within twenty-four months. Where it does, retention is governed by our agreement with you.

Technical logs held by our hosting provider are retained for short periods in accordance with that provider's standard practice.

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal data against unauthorised access, use, disclosure or loss. Access is limited to those who need it in order to respond to you.

Your rights

You may ask us:

• for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and information about how it has been used or disclosed in the past year; and
• to correct any personal data we hold about you that is inaccurate or incomplete.

You may also withdraw your consent to our use of your personal data at any time, by writing to us. If you do, we will stop using it, although this may mean we cannot continue the conversation with you.

We will respond to any request as soon as reasonably possible. There is no charge for a correction request. We will tell you in advance if a fee applies to an access request.
